About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the first-level support contact via SNOW, email, or Teams
- Receive, log, and track incidents and service requests using ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira
- Perform basic troubleshooting for application issues, including login and configuration errors
- Monitor applications to ensure system availability and performance
- Provide quick resolutions for common issues using knowledge bases and standard procedures
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to L3 or development teams
- Communicate with users regarding issue status and resolution timelines
- Document incidents, solutions, and workarounds for future reference
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of prior professional experience
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts and application support processes
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of RDBMS, logs, and monitoring tools
- Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT or SVN
- Ability to work in a 24x7 shift support environment
- Strong communication and customer handling skills
