Application Support Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for proprietary trading systems critical to business operations
• Coordinate, implement, and support daily system-level changes in Windows and Linux environments
• Troubleshoot trading-related issues by investigating client and server log files
• Perform server-side application support, including job scheduling and basic scripting
• Coordinate technical resources and communicate with business and technology communities during production issues
• Work directly with developer and engineering teams to deploy changes and respond to tactical production issues

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in application support, operations, systems administration, or a related role
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux)
• Foundational knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, or Bash
• Ability to independently identify problems and develop effective solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Previous experience within a financial services or trading environment
