About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyse and diagnose issues raised by business users related to trade data or system configurations
- Maintain and manage the batch scheduling environment and monitoring systems
- Remotely manage and monitor server hosts in multiple colocations across Europe
- Manage and prioritise requests from internal IT support functions
- Set up and maintain tools that monitor for alerts and test new system changes
- Continuously evaluate, improve, and deploy new application versions
- Collaborate with infrastructure and software teams to ensure scalability and stability
- Manage project work including hardware refreshes, environment optimisation, and release management
Requirements
- Excellent IT analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in log file analysis
- Experience with or supporting a batch scheduling system
- Experience with application monitoring and analytical tools such as Splunk or Check_mk
- Proficiency in SQL, DevOps, and automation
- B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of networked application systems, database environments, and Windows (2012, 2019)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the finance industry
