Application Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide second- and third-line technical support for trading and back-office platforms to internal and external clients.
• Manage incidents, outages, and system implementations following ITIL standards.
• Act as a liaison between the technology department and business groups to communicate system changes.
• Manage vendor system upgrades, exchange relationships, and mandatory project upgrades.
• Handle technical client onboarding and manage client technical requirements.
• Maintain high-quality process and trading system documentation.
• Complete exchange reporting, compliance audits, and monthly transactional reporting.

Requirements

• Solid background in Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• Experience in a financial services environment.
• Proven experience with ITIL and change management processes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Working knowledge of ETD exchanges and the full trade life cycle.
• Ability to work under demanding conditions with a calm, systematic mindset.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of FIX Messaging protocol and market connectivity protocols.
• Experience with ATEO and ION products.
• Understanding of Sox compliance as it relates to support functions.
• Experience supporting back and middle office users.
• Knowledge of asset classes including FX, OTC, Interest Rate Swaps, and Equities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
