About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support custom applications and identify ways to improve support processes
  • Perform data analysis tasks using SQL/Toad to troubleshoot errors and user questions
  • Create training documents and conduct periodic training for system super users
  • Monitor daily job outputs and coordinate error resolution with project leads
  • Deliver high-level customer service and continuous communication to users
  • Assist with testing new application functions and communicate software changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an application support environment
  • Experience handling transaction databases and second-tier transaction processing applications
  • Proficiency in SQL query writing for research and debugging
  • Experience with ticket handling systems such as JIRA
  • Experience debugging transaction processing applications with remote users
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience with custom application support
  • Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Experience with training content creation tools
  • Experience communicating technical designs in non-technical terms
  • Experience with application testing and executing test plans
