About the role
Responsibilities
- Support custom applications and identify ways to improve support processes
- Perform data analysis tasks using SQL/Toad to troubleshoot errors and user questions
- Create training documents and conduct periodic training for system super users
- Monitor daily job outputs and coordinate error resolution with project leads
- Deliver high-level customer service and continuous communication to users
- Assist with testing new application functions and communicate software changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of two years of experience in an application support environment
- Experience handling transaction databases and second-tier transaction processing applications
- Proficiency in SQL query writing for research and debugging
- Experience with ticket handling systems such as JIRA
- Experience debugging transaction processing applications with remote users
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field
- Three or more years of experience with custom application support
- Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite
- Experience with training content creation tools
- Experience communicating technical designs in non-technical terms
- Experience with application testing and executing test plans
