Application Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintain the stability and resilience of Global Fraud platforms by driving availability, accuracy, and rapid recovery of production systems.
• Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure and resolve complex technical issues to minimize operational disruption.
• Manage IT service risk by identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring alignment with compliance functions.
• Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities in adherence to group SLAs and control standards.
• Partner with technology, operations, and business stakeholders to enable timely incident resolution and continuous improvement.
• Lead and supervise team members, guiding professional development and coordinating resource allocation.

Requirements

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as AppDynamics, Elasticsearch, Netcool, and Kibana.
• Proficiency with middleware and platforms including WebSphere, JBoss, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools including Jenkins, Chef, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Considerable domain knowledge within the banking or financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java/J2EE, APIs, and Oracle PL/SQL for enterprise application support.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as Open Shift / aPaaS or AWS.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
