Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and develop customized solutions for high-pressure equipment, vacuum systems, and blowers across various industries.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and support bidding processes, including scope, cost, and risk analysis.
• Manage orders via SAP with high precision and use Salesforce to track and resolve customer cases.
• Support sales teams in the Americas through technical training, engagement strategies, and the creation of technical materials.
• Conduct market studies to strategically position Gardner Denver and Nash solutions based on technical advantages.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and project management teams to ensure continuous process improvement and rigorous documentation.

Requirements

• Essential knowledge of vacuum systems, blowers, and their industrial applications.
• Proven experience in application engineering, specifically focusing on vacuum systems.
• Experience reading technical specifications, developing proposals, and managing orders or similar technical functions.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and training events, including international travel approximately twice per quarter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong sales skills, including familiarity with negotiation techniques and detailed cost analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce for order management and case resolution.
• Knowledge of industrial design using AutoCAD.
