Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and develop customized solutions for compressed air, high pressure, vacuum, and blower systems.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and support bidding processes, including scope, cost, and risk analysis.
• Manage orders via SAP with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Use Salesforce to track and resolve customer cases.
• Support sales teams in the Americas through training, engagement strategies, and technical materials.
• Conduct market studies to position Gardner Denver and Nash solutions strategically.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and project management teams to ensure technical consistency from sale to execution.

Requirements

• Knowledge of compressors and/or blowers.
• Experience with industrial equipment in application areas.
• Experience reading technical specifications, preparing proposals, or managing orders.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and training events (including international travel approximately twice per quarter).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP and Salesforce.
• Knowledge of industrial design using AutoCAD.
