Application Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of applications to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities
• Design and implement robust security architectures for applications
• Manage and maintain security tools such as SAST, DAST, and WAFs
• Promote a culture of security awareness and provide training to development teams
• Enforce security policies, standards, and controls in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with development, Product, and IT operations to integrate security into the SDLC
• Respond to security breaches and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Software Development background
• At least 6 years of experience in an Information Security position
• Proficiency in development languages such as Java, C/C++, Perl, PHP, .NET, or Python
• Experience in Security Test Management and Application Security Assessments
• Knowledge of frameworks like SPRING, OSGI, or ASP.NET
• Experience with Agile Development and Vulnerability Management
• Skills in Penetration Testing and Security Evaluation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with online gaming security
• Knowledge of regulatory standards like ISO27001 or PCI-DSS
• Experience in security automation
• Professional certifications such as GIAC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CEH
