Application Reader-Undergrad

Responsibilities

• Review high school transcripts and calculate GPAs
• Interpret SAT, ACT, and CLT scores for admission purposes
• Read and evaluate student essays and letters of recommendation
• Assess high school engagement and translate activities to potential campus experiences at Stetson
• Recommend applicants for admission, academic scholarships, and premier program opportunities
• Update student records within the Slate CRM system
• Participate in weekly staff meetings during typical workdays

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Prior professional experience in admissions, recruitment, education, school counseling, or related fields
• Proficiency in navigating CRM systems
• Strong computer skills and experience with database management
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment using Zoom and/or Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume admissions environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and exhibit grace under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
