Application Performance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 application monitoring to ensure continuous visibility into application and end-user services
• Monitor and oversee Sev 1 and Sev 2 alerts, tickets, and dashboards related to application health
• Manage incident events and coordinate escalations with SMEs and Tier 2 leads
• Utilize monitoring, alerting, and ticketing tools to analyze and resolve service issues
• Communicate operational issues, trends, and risks clearly to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain operational reporting, including weekly and monthly metrics and trend analysis
• Drive service quality improvements to reduce alert noise and improve mean time to detect (MTTD)

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in an operations or Application Support role
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Snowflake, or AWS CloudWatch
• Proficiency with JIRA, Pagerduty, and Zendesk or ServiceNow
• Ability to work 24x7 on-call rotations and flexible schedules
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage incidents and cross-team coordination in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with observability tools used in cloud and SaaS environments
• Experience operating in regulated industries such as life sciences or healthcare
• Experience working in a start-up or within the Health Tech/Pharma industry
