Application Packaging Engineer and Software Distribution Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update client software packages for applications such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other business tools
• Develop, test, and maintain software packages for deployment to end-user desktops
• Troubleshoot and resolve software deployment issues as they arise
• Review and validate software request tickets
• Create detailed installation guides in collaboration with software key users
• Script software packages for distribution, perform alpha tests, and document technical aspects throughout the development process

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
• Several years of experience in Application Packaging using tools such as SCCM or Intune
• Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 within an Enterprise Active Directory environment
• Deep understanding of Registry, Processes, Filesystem, and PowerShell scripting
• Solid knowledge of MSI and EXE packaging standards and best practices
• Strong log file analysis and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
