Application Engineering Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical leadership for critical software and middleware projects, ensuring successful architecture and implementation.
• Evaluate and approve technical solutions, development options, and technical deliverables proposed by team members.
• Oversee comprehensive testing for functionality, performance, and security to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Act as a key technical liaison with stakeholders to communicate project risks, technical implications, and solution strategies.
• Mentor staff and drive the adoption of evolving IT methodologies, architecture designs, and enterprise standards.
• Apply deep server-side development expertise to optimize performance, secure architecture, and database efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex system performance issues and recommend improvements to optimize data flow across services and APIs.
• Ensure scalable and resilient backend functionality to meet increasing system demands.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical lead role.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or a degree in Computer Applications (BCA/MCA).
• Expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with Java 17 & 21.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EC2, Glue, and DynamoDB.
• Proven experience with Microservices architecture and event-driven Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain exposure in Finance or Trading.
• AWS certification.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js.
• Experience with AI tools.
