Application Engineering Technical Lead II

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical leadership for critical software, middleware, or hardware projects, ensuring successful architecture and implementation.
• Evaluate and approve development options, technical deliverables, and proposed solutions from team members.
• Oversee comprehensive testing for functionality, performance, and security while resolving complex technical problems.
• Act as a key technical liaison with stakeholders to communicate project risks and solution strategies.
• Mentor staff and ensure team adoption of evolving enterprise standards and IT methodologies.
• Apply deep server-side development skills to optimize performance, secure architecture, and database efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex system performance issues and ensure scalable, resilient backend functionality.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Applications (BCA/MCA).
• Expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python for full-stack and API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms (including CloudFormation, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and IAM).
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API development, and batch processing systems.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and optimize system performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications such as Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Consultant.
• Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of continuous process improvement for workflows and dashboards.
