Application Engineering Technical Lead II

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical leadership for critical software, middleware, or hardware projects across multiple platforms.
• Evaluate and approve development options, technical deliverables, and architecture diagrams.
• Oversee comprehensive testing for functionality, performance, and security to ensure high-quality releases.
• Act as a key technical liaison with stakeholders to communicate project risks and solution strategies.
• Mentor developers, decompose complex work into manageable increments, and drive the adoption of emerging technologies.
• Apply deep server-side development skills to optimize performance, secure architecture, and database efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex system performance issues and ensure scalable, resilient backend functionality.
• Enforce technical governance standards, including code quality, APIs, observability, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech, BCA, or MCA) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in software architecture and system design for enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong technical leadership experience with a track record of mentoring engineering teams.
• Proficiency with Java, AWS, CI/CD, SRE, React, or Node.js.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and modular solutions spanning UI, mid-tier services, and backend systems.
