Application Engineering Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and own the technical delivery of projects to meet business demands
• Design, build, implement, and manage in-house developed and SaaS solutions
• Translate architectural deliverables into detailed design and build specifications
• Provide hands-on development, technical leadership, and mentorship to engineering team members
• Oversee solution design, testing strategy, performance, security, and release readiness
• Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions to ensure cost-effective and efficient outcomes
• Collaborate with project managers and vendors to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget execution
• Maintain adherence to architectural standards, coding methodologies, and technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture, design, and building scalable solutions
• 3+ years of experience in a technical lead role managing a portfolio
• Strong Full Stack .NET expertise (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API)
• UI development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular or React
• Deep SQL Server knowledge, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Experience implementing and consuming REST APIs and understanding OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with Agile development methodologies and version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture
• Exposure to MSBI technologies such as SSRS or SSIS
• Experience developing or troubleshooting custom interfaces with third-party vendor applications
• Knowledge of SFTP and secure data/file transfer mechanisms
