Application Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage technical relationships with Original Equipment (OE) customers, end users, and distributors.
• Develop customized engineering solutions and value-added offerings to meet specific customer requirements.
• Perform application reviews on complex machinery and equipment to identify technical needs.
• Create and present detailed application engineering proposals, including design and technical specifications.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for bearing-related problems in various applications.
• Monitor competitor technical developments and market trends to provide feedback for new product design.
• Represent SKF at technical forums, seminars, and customer sites through presentations and demonstrations.
• Develop and deliver internal and external technical training materials.

Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
• 8-12 years of experience in application engineering, specifically within the bearing industry.
• Strong domain knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, including design, application, or maintenance.
• Proven experience working directly with OE and End Users.
• Proficiency in solution selling and managing both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to perform analytical methods and interpret results from application engineering software.
