Application Engineering Environments Support Analyst, Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level configuration services across multiple platforms for complex applications.
• Plan, schedule, and execute complex software builds, elevations, and version recreations.
• Administer and audit source code archive databases and configuration management plans.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, including policies, procedures, and release notes.
• Manage and integrate data flows between back-end services, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align back-end solutions with user-centric designs.
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot code, processes, and data to enhance efficiency.
• Lead technical inspections and meetings to resolve complex configuration issues.
• Mentor staff and develop training materials to support team growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in application engineering, configuration management, or backend systems support.
• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in server-side development and database design.
• Proficiency in managing APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong ability to create detailed technical documentation and configuration standards.
