Application Engineering (Data & AI Platforms) Developer - Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-performance, scalable, and low-latency enterprise applications using modern design patterns like microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud-native services.
• Design platforms capable of supporting AI/ML use cases, including data preparation, model training, and inference pipelines.
• Establish strong data quality frameworks, including validation, reconciliation, and monitoring of data SLAs.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams and set standards for code quality, security, and performance.
• Drive technology modernization initiatives to replace legacy patterns with cloud-native, future-ready architectures.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and large-scale data processing.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, cloud security, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in regulated or enterprise technology environments, such as banking.
• Proven experience enabling or supporting AI/Machine Learning solutions in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of data quality management and data engineering best practices.
