Application Engineer - Technical Customer Lead

Responsibilities

• Own account strategy for major enterprise customers and manage executive-level relationships
• Work closely with customers to understand development needs and propose effective uses for Applied's products
• Ensure customer needs are supported by the broader engineering team through effective prioritization
• Collaborate with sales teams to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and workshops
• Explore new product development areas driven by a strategic understanding of the customer landscape

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an application engineer or developer with experience interacting with end-customers
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers
• Prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains
• Familiarity with best practices in large-scale software development
• Strong communication skills and a focus on solving customer problems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior background in technical sales or application engineering for simulation products
• Deep domain expertise in autonomous vehicle development
