Application Engineer - Technical Customer Lead

Responsibilities

• Own account strategy for major enterprise customers
• Manage executive and leadership relationships
• Work closely with customers to understand development needs and autonomy use cases
• Ensure customer needs are supported by the engineering team through effective prioritization
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to gather requirements via technical discussions and workshops
• Explore new product development areas driven by strategic understanding of the customer landscape

Requirements

• 3+ years experience working with external customers to integrate complex systems or troubleshoot issues
• Strong grounding in large scale software development
• Baseline knowledge of software systems, Linux, and cloud
• Strong technical communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior background in technical sales or application engineering for simulation products
• Prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains
• Experience with automotive OEMs or suppliers
