Application Engineer, SPR

Responsibilities

• Support the Self-Piercing Rivet (SPR) product line through technical customer support and engineering analysis.
• Evaluate customer-specific applications and participate in technical presentations to educate clients on SPR capabilities.
• Work with customers to specify SPR equipment into programs and ensure requirements are met through implementation.
• Manage engineering programs from concept to design buyoff, ensuring on-time completion and customer satisfaction.
• Develop solutions using digital virtual simulation and apply engineering principles to the development process.
• Drive joint development projects to establish joining methodologies for new materials and products.
• Oversee order entries, BOM accuracy, and provide expertise on fastener designs, materials, and failure modes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management or related experience in project execution.
• Experience in the automotive industry or a similar sector.
• Experience with automation products or electro-mechanical products preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on customer advocacy.
