Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote segment-oriented application solutions specifically for the Railways sector
• Manage condition monitoring projects within the Railways segment
• Support the commercial proposal process in collaboration with key account managers and sales teams
• Achieve defined business plans for the segment and customer base
• Document successful customer solutions to replicate them across the segment
• Provide regular training and development for frontline sales and business development teams regarding new technologies
• Manage technical customer complaints and conduct high-caliber technical seminars
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their machine needs and market trends
• Actively participate in industry technical forums to present SKF solutions

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in application engineering, maintenance, or services
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Mining Engineering
• Strong technical competence and knowledge of SKF products and solutions
• Proven knowledge of Railway systems and processes, including product approval cycles and complaint management
• Experience in mechanical machinery, production, or industrial environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with senior management
