About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for system integrators, supporting them through sales, installation, and commissioning.
  • Provide technical guidance on product selection, system configuration, and application setup for robotic welding solutions.
  • Install, commission, and validate robotic welding systems directly at customer sites when required.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues through on-site and remote technical support.
  • Partner with the sales team to conduct needs assessments, product demonstrations, and technical validations.
  • Deliver technical training to both integrator teams and end-user customer personnel.
  • Share field observations and customer feedback with internal teams to drive product improvement and new product introductions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or related field) or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical field role involving robotic systems, welding equipment, or industrial automation.
  • Working knowledge of welding processes such as GMAW and GTAW.
  • Familiarity with robotics programming, control systems, and basic electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel more than 50%, including regular overnight stays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working alongside channel partners, dealers, or system integrators.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming or broader industrial automation.
  • Hands-on welding background or professional welding certification.
  • Multilingual skills.
