Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HVAC technical analysis and application support for sales opportunities and project proposals in the West Region.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittal documents to ensure compliance with design requirements and industry standards (DOE, AHRI, UL, etc.).
• Prepare detailed equipment proposals, system selections, and technical recommendations based on project conditions.
• Conduct technical seminars and webinars for internal sales teams, engineers, and contractors to disseminate product knowledge.
• Coordinate with HQ in Korea to facilitate technical communication, resolve complex customer inquiries, and support new product introductions (NPI).
• Diagnose application issues and collaborate with HQ engineering for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop technical sales tools and application resources to improve field team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or an equivalent technical degree.
• Proven experience in the HVAC industry, specifically within technical sales or application engineering.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for field activities and headquarters training.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet critical project deadlines and urgent sales inquiries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal) to facilitate seamless communication with HQ.
