Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HVAC technical analysis and application support for sales opportunities and project proposals.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittal documents to ensure compliance with design requirements and industry standards (DOE, AHRI, UL).
• Prepare detailed equipment proposals, system selections, and technical recommendations.
• Conduct technical seminars and webinars for internal sales teams, engineers, and contractors.
• Facilitate bilingual (Korean/English) technical communication to coordinate with HQ for field support and issue resolution.
• Diagnose application issues and coordinate with HQ engineering for root-cause analysis.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and develop technical sales tools to improve field effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or an equivalent technical degree.
• Proven experience in the HVAC industry, specifically within technical sales or application engineering.
• Professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for field activities and HQ training.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet critical project deadlines.
