Application Engineer - Hyperion Financial Management

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including data integration, report generation, system maintenance, and financial close activities
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement solutions that enhance HFM functionality and support acquisitions or divestment activities
• Support internal and external auditing requirements
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Develop and maintain documentation for HFM processes, procedures, and best practices
• Assist in the design and implementation of new features and enhancements for HFM applications
• Provide training and technical support to end-users on HFM applications and related tools

Requirements

• Proven experience in application engineering with a focus on Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) architecture, modules, and functionalities
• Experience with Oracle EPM products such as FCCS, PBCS, Hyperion Planning, and FDMEE
• Strong understanding of financial management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation
• Experience with system integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting HFM with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Ability to create complex financial reports using Smart View, Hyperion Reports, and other reporting tools
• Solid understanding of HFM application models, including metadata structures, dimensions, and hierarchies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience working within agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
