Application Engineer – High Frequency

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical specialist for Ansys High Frequency simulation tools, including HFSS and SIwave.
• Support the sales team through technical engagements, live presentations, product demonstrations, and the development of case studies.
• Provide high-quality technical support and training to customers in the Middle East region via email, telephone, and in-person sessions.
• Execute consulting projects and develop technical repositories to improve customer productivity.
• Work on advanced technology areas such as 5G, Millimeter wave, Phased Array, and Radar systems.
• Address customer needs in Chip, Package, and PCB designs involving Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
• Coordinate technical activities throughout the sales cycle, including customer meetings and product evaluations.
• Deliver introductory technical training courses on Ansys electromagnetic simulation products.

Requirements

• Must be a Saudi National.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Strong background in the electromagnetic simulation domain.
• Proficiency with Ansys software (HFSS, SBR+, SIwave, Q3D Extractor, or EMIT) or similar packages like ADS, CST, or FEKO.
• Experience with RF Link Budget Analysis and related systems.
• Knowledge of 5G systems, Phased Array, Digital Beamforming, and Radar systems.
• Understanding of PCB, SI/PI, RF applications, Antennas, or EMC/EMI.
• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to conduct webinars and professional presentations.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
