Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for customer account engagements and documentation development
• Manage technical account engagements to ensure successful ESS solution adoption
• Support utility-scale and commercial projects with customized design support
• Provide feedback to R&D and Product Management regarding product improvements
• Coordinate field testing and feedback collection for new hardware and software
• Lead engagement with customers on ESS system application and partner evaluation
• Develop technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and safety certifications

Requirements

• Deliver high-quality field and customer technical support to enable project wins
• Prioritize account and project opportunities relative to technical resources
• Manage tasks in the technical pipeline to ensure proper pre-sales design support
• Collaborate with China-based R&D and design teams on test requirements and procedures
• Act as a sales focal point for product management feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• BSEE, BSME, or MS degree
• 1-5 years of experience in ESS engineering, design, or technical pre-sales support
• Ability to communicate complex technical subject matter to external partners
• Strong networking and communication expertise
• Willingness to travel locally, domestically, and internationally
