Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for customer account engagements, including documentation and training
• Manage technical account engagements to ensure successful ESS solution adoption and business growth
• Support utility-scale and commercial projects with customized design support to reduce customer costs
• Provide feedback to R&D and Product Management teams regarding product improvements and technical issues
• Coordinate field testing and feedback collection for new hardware and software
• Collaborate with Customer Support to resolve technical issues and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Lead engagement with customers on ESS system application and partner evaluation for balance of system equipment
• Develop technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and safety certifications

Requirements

• BSEE, BSME, or MS degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in ESS engineering/design technical pre-sales support and project management
• Ability to communicate complex technical subject matter to external partners and customers
• Strong networking and communication expertise
• Willingness to travel locally, domestically, and internationally
