Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the sales of Critical Care products (ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring) through product demonstrations and presentations during consultations.
• Provide after-sales support, including user training, product commissioning, and monitoring clinical application usage.
• Partner with sales managers to identify and address client needs.
• Represent Getinge at professional trade shows and congresses.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and provide regular reporting to management.
• Collaborate with sales managers and product managers to ensure efficient teamwork.
• Manage specific equipment needs and configurations in coordination with the Stock Manager.

Requirements

• Biomedical or medical training (experience is a plus, as comprehensive training will be provided).
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and anticipate client needs.
• Strong pedagogical and communication skills to adapt technical discourse to different stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, flexibly, and in an organized manner.
• Strong stress management skills and composure, especially when working in critical care environments.
• Commercial mindset and a strong team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of physiology (hemodynamics and ventilation).
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Previous experience in operating room or intensive care environments.
