Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house custom solutions to technical issues by managing projects to test, evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot adhesive and equipment challenges
• Optimize application recommendations and root cause analyses by delivering expert support to Territory Managers, sales partners, and customers
• Complete technical projects by defining objectives, developing test matrices, collecting data, and reporting results
• Assess feasibility of customer project requests by evaluating efficiencies, costs, and resource demands
• Present technical information effectively by reviewing specifications, interpreting data, and communicating recommendations to internal and external audiences
• Partner with sales teams to develop or adapt products that meet specific customer needs
• Deliver technical training sessions to internal stakeholders, sales partners, and customers

Requirements

• BA/BS in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in specialty materials, chemical, or technical support roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills with a precise and detail-oriented approach
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Ability to work in an office-based environment with occasional lab or production-floor duties
