Application Engineer – CFD

Responsibilities

• Function as a specialist in Ansys Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation tools, specifically Fluent and CFX.
• Support the sales team by participating in technical meetings, performing live demonstrations, and developing case studies.
• Provide technical support and training to customers in the Middle East region, guiding them through complex industrial applications.
• Execute consulting and R&D projects to support customers' design and engineering processes.
• Develop technical support repositories and create simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to ensure successful product use and software renewals.

Requirements

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer fundamentals, and numerical methods.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience solving CFD applications using Ansys tools.
• Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for presentations and webinars.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for customer engagements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of multiphase flows, combustion/reactive flows, or Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI).
• Experience in conducting technical webinars or professional product demonstrations.
