Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute development activities using agile methodologies within BRET cells to meet delivery objectives.
• Analyze, design, and build software components and containers ready for controlled production pilots.
• Implement full stack solutions using Java and Python, adhering to quality, security, and maintainability standards.
• Utilize ADK, MCP, and YAML for orchestration, automation, and configuration as code.
• Package and deploy assets using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation including architecture, deployment, and operational decisions.
• Provide post-release support during the one-month stabilization period.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience in production environments.
• Expertise in full stack development, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Java and Python, including API design and consumption.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and YAML for orchestration.
• Strong understanding of networking, systems fundamentals, and security best practices.
• Experience working in hybrid environments; exposure to GCP is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certifications such as GCP Associate/Professional, Kubernetes, or AI/GenAI.
• Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, traces) and SRE practices.
• Knowledge of ML/GenAI frameworks and evaluation patterns.
• Active participation in technical communities or open-source contributions.
• English language proficiency.
