Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized application support for international IT systems, including SWIFT, international transfers, and foreign exchange.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve software incidents from initial detection through technical analysis to production release and follow-up.
• Ensure continuous system availability and operational continuity by implementing timely technical solutions.
• Coordinate coding, testing, integration, and deployment activities in collaboration with Development, QA, and Production teams.
• Minimize system downtime and reduce business impact by prioritizing rapid service recovery.
• Document detailed incident reports, including root cause analysis and implemented solutions, to maintain the institutional knowledge base.
• Manage external vendors to ensure technical commitments and response times are met.
• Collaborate with internal clients and user areas to provide clear technical communication and guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in a similar application support role, or 3 years of experience in software development.
• Backend expertise in Java, Spring Boot/Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, RESTful services, and MQ/JMS integrations.
• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Oracle/MySQL), GIT, Maven, CI/CD, and application servers/containers.
• Frontend knowledge including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Intermediate English language skills.
