Application Engineer - Ansys Granta

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery activities to identify customer pain points in material informatics, discovery, and management.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to propose tailored Ansys Granta MI solutions.
• Develop value propositions and document as-is to to-be processes, including organizational ROI and scoping.
• Provide high-quality post-sales technical support via email and online meetings.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and implementation engineers to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ansys Granta MI or similar materials information management systems.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of database applications and office automation software (Excel).
• Fluency in English with the ability to communicate complex technical subjects.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, energy, or medical sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging with enterprise-level stakeholders.
