Application Engineer 3

Responsibilities

• Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers
• Monitor and patch/upgrade Linux servers and AWS instances
• Incorporate security compliance controls
• Support documentation of non-applicable controls
• Install new or replacement hardware or software
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure
• Assist with decommissioning obsolete or replaced hardware
• Document inventory changes

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Security+ certification
• Minimum 3 years of Linux server administration experience
• Minimum 1 year of AWS experience
• Minimum 1 year of Ansible experience
• Relevant education and experience based on degree level (e.g., 6 years for Bachelor's, 4 years for Master's)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Splunk
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python
