Application Engineer 3

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain application systems to ensure data reliability and accuracy
• Perform continuous performance monitoring and proactive troubleshooting
• Track metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts to prevent downtime
• Support watchfloor operations by identifying service degradation and system errors
• Perform Linux system administration tasks including service management and log reviews
• Support cloud-based operations using AWS Console or AWS CLI
• Work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule (6AM-6PM / 6PM-6AM)

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Minimum experience based on education: 10 years (HS), 8 years (Associate), 6 years (Bachelor), 4 years (Master), or 2 years (Doctorate)
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or CloudWatch
• Experience with Linux system administration
• Experience with AWS operations (EC2, Lambda, CLI)
• Experience with dataflow tools like Apache NiFi, Cribl, Kafka, or Logstash
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, or Docker
