Application Development & Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Compass AI platform for availability, performance, and defects
• Perform initial incident triage and log issues in ServiceNow
• Conduct first-level troubleshooting for content errors, order processing anomalies, and user-reported defects
• Assist with routine content updates, catalog maintenance, and platform configuration
• Support quality assurance by executing test cases and performing post-deployment smoke testing
• Maintain support documentation, including runbooks and troubleshooting guides

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4–8 years of experience in application support, product support, or technical support
• Proficiency with Angular, Python, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
• Understanding of REST APIs and web application communication
• Familiarity with Linux command-line operations and log file review

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with platform administration or Oracle integrations
• Familiarity with GitLab for reviewing deployment changes
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog or New Relic
• Experience with WCAG accessibility testing
• ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL service management frameworks
