Application Developer - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform technical design, development, integration, and testing for data solutions to meet real-time and batch business requirements
• Develop and maintain complex systems within an AWS cloud environment
• Support production systems to ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to design solutions for complex requirements
• Innovate and advocate for best practices while mentoring junior team members

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-based development (Databricks with AWS) or PL/SQL
• Extensive experience in Java, J2EE, or Python
• Strong knowledge of Spark technology and data engineering pipelines
• Strong experience with complex SQL
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Understanding of DevOps best practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision
• Strong functional, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with clients to understand business needs
• Strong professional communication skills, both written and oral
