Application Developer - Cloud, Appian

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based applications with a focus on .NET in an AWS GovCloud environment.
• Develop new cloud applications or migrate existing web applications to cloud-hosted services.
• Analyze user needs to determine requirements and conduct feasibility studies.
• Convert functional specifications into technical specifications and develop system documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement technical solutions, resolve defects, and participate in code reviews.
• Research emerging technologies and best practices to apply to the client environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant application development experience.
• Proficiency in .NET development and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with cloud application development, preferably within AWS.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), testing, and debugging practices.
• US Citizenship or Green Card is required; no visa sponsorship is available.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Active Public Trust or Suitability adjudication.
