Application Analyst Sr.

Responsibilities

• Refine high-level business requirements into detailed functional and technical design documents.
• Develop technology solutions for complex problems, leveraging base products over heavy customization where possible.
• Drive the creation of Requirements Traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are thoroughly tested.
• Provide production support and incident remediation, including root cause analysis and mitigation.
• Support and mentor less experienced analysts during project work and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Technology Planning Analysts, and business partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Participate in on-call support to solve technical issues independently or assist team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Deep, comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Subject matter expertise in Customer Technology, specifically CCaaS (e.g., Five9, Genesys) or Customer Portal SaaS solutions.
• Experience integrating applications with customer information systems, such as Oracle Utilities.
• Strong understanding of ITIL Foundation principles.
• Proven experience working within Agile, Kanban, or Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
