Application Analyst II (Cosmetics)

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct applications for new molecules, extraction processes, and cosmetic applications from conception to final data review.
• Execute chemical analyses using chromatographic techniques (HPLC and GC) and colorimetric methods on natural extracts, oils, butters, waxes, and essential oils.
• Support technology transfer from the laboratory to industrial production scale to ensure data reliability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Operations, and Production to provide technical support.
• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods to internal or external Quality Control teams in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Manage laboratory activities, including equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and team training.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with an active CRQ registration.
• 3+ years of experience in a cosmetic R&D or application laboratory.
• Proficiency in chromatographic techniques (HPLC and GC) and analytical method development.
• Advanced or fluent English skills for international communication.
• Ability to work onsite in Ananindeua, Pará.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in Cosmetics.
• Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a PhD.
• Previous experience working specifically with natural ingredients.
