Appian Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document process workflows using Appian technology to enhance business platforms and build new product offerings.
• Ensure functional specifications are implemented technically to meet objectives for robustness, performance, and reliability.
• Develop and enhance client-facing Appian applications and workflow solutions.
• Liaise with internal and external user groups within a collaborative agile environment.
• Contribute to the Appian practice at Fidelity by sharing methods and best practices.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience building Enterprise Workflows using the Appian Platform.
• Working experience in web development with an emphasis on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Deep knowledge of Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, Expressions, Documents, and Knowledge Center.
• Proficiency with Appian Objects including Records, Sites, Actions, Integrations (Web API, Connected Systems), and Data Stores.
• Experience with SQL and database platforms such as Oracle or MariaDB.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodology and the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Appian Certification.
• Experience with DocuSign and document management platforms.
• Background in wealth management, brokerage, or financial services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
