Apparel Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead trend-driven design initiatives across men's and women's categories, focusing on small capsules and fast-turn opportunities
• Conceptualize seasonal narratives, including fabric direction, silhouette evolution, and aesthetic vision
• Hand-sketch concepts to communicate design intent, construction, and fabrication details
• Execute accurate, detailed tech packs to support overseas production
• Lead fittings from prototype through production to ensure design integrity and garment quality
• Partner with sourcing, production, and product development teams on fabric and trim innovation
• Mentor CAD designers and junior team members on concept development and calendar management
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from initial concept through final production delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience, preferably in high-volume fashion environments
• BFA/BA Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Skilled hand sketching technique
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of the fashion market and emerging global trends
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
