App Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve Expo infrastructure, ensuring smooth upgrades and optimal configuration
• Leverage React Native's New Architecture and latest tooling to eliminate performance bottlenecks
• Build and maintain iOS-specific features like App Clips, Live Activities, and Widgets
• Create tooling and infrastructure that improves developer velocity and code quality
• Establish monitoring and observability systems to track app performance and release health
• Own and continuously improve the weekly app release process from build to store deployment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building mobile applications with React Native
• Experience with Expo and managing mobile build/deployment infrastructure
• Strong understanding of New Architecture, React Compiler, and performance optimization
• Track record of improving developer experience using CI/CD automation and observability systems
• Builder's mindset focused on automation and optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sentry or similar observability tools
• Experience working with Expo and Software Mansion ecosystems
