API Production Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee API production plant operations to ensure scheduled production meets quality and cost parameters.
• Manage projects to ensure completion within given timeframes and allocated resources.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety procedures, statutory guidelines, and company code of conduct.
• Review and approve Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Equipment Cleaning Records (ECR), and validation protocols.
• Investigate production deviations, OOT, OOS, and market complaints, implementing necessary CAPA actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to reduce waste and decrease product costs.
• Manage plant budgets, equipment maintenance, and facility readiness for inspections.
• Lead and develop subordinates while maintaining high morale and harmonious industrial relations.

Requirements

• B.E. in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
• 20 to 25 years of extensive experience in an API manufacturing plant.
• Strong expertise in cGMP and FDA regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP and related quality management systems (LMS, DCM, CAPA).
• Deep understanding of industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
