API Inspector

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute inspection plans in accordance with applicable SOPs, API, and BS codes
• Perform in-service inspections of pressure vessels, piping, pipelines, and storage tanks
• Interpret inspection results and prepare detailed reports in line with company procedures
• Assess corrosion rates, determine remaining life, and recommend next inspection intervals or remediations
• Coordinate with clients regarding inspection preparations and agreed work scopes
• Review technical drawings, including P&IDs and Isometrics

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries
• Valid API 653 (Storage Tanks) and API 570 (Piping) certifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or an appropriate Engineering field
• Strong knowledge of damage mechanisms and equipment failures
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
• Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills
