About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute Inspection Plans in conjunction with applicable SOPs, API, and BS codes
- Execute inspections of equipment, interpret results, and prepare inspection reports
- Assess corrosion rates, determine remaining life, next inspection intervals, and remediation needs
- Perform inspections as authorized under the formal division system and competence skill matrix
- Coordinate with clients for inspection preparations as per agreed work scope or Inspection Plan
- Review collected data and prepare testing reports in line with company procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries
- Valid API 653 (Storage Tanks) and API 570 (Piping) certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or appropriate Engineering
- Experience in in-service inspection of Pressure Vessels, Piping/Pipelines, and Storage Tanks
- Ability to review Drawings, P&IDs, and Isometrics
- Strong knowledge of Damage Mechanisms and equipment failures
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
