API Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot (MVC, Data, and Security).
• Implement and integrate Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to optimize infrastructure, scalability, and performance.
• Develop and maintain well-documented REST APIs for seamless communication between microservices and external systems.
• Deploy services using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in the design and development of real-time systems for efficient data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and Product to ensure project success.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in peer code reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proven expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services (e.g., GKE, Spanner, CRF) and deployment strategies.
• Extensive experience with REST API design principles.
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with mobile applications and third-party APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex real-time systems.
